Barbara, I found the issue in printing, I downloaded to my computer, but I had opened the download from the document section on TQS instead of the one I downloaded. So issue is resolved and I will get back to the roads. I will probably redo the roads as they were off 1/4" from top (1/8") and bottom (1/8"). I haven't counted the road length, but thinking around 2", maybe 4" as the houses puckered up quite a bit! My first Mariner's Compass will look awesome when I get the roads back on! Third time is a charm. Try, Fail and Adjust!

It is amazing how much the scale of 1" difference to the puny size of the first roads I made. Oh Lord help me!

One fourth at a time will be better. Thanks for the idea!!!
The second half of this quilt doesn’t work that way. Little Houses in the city at N E S W do not have a center seam. But quarters do work through the Upper Road.

I am just now attaching the compass/inner road to the small houses/upper road. Does each seam for the small house supposed to line up to the seam in the road segments? Mine is off and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Also I can't find on here what the opening of the small house circle is supposed to be. thank you.

Yes, the seams of the Roads line up with the Houses. Be sure to read my detailed blog on the process:

          https://bbquiltmaker.blogspot.com/20...h-5-roads.html

If they don’t fit, it’s either seam allowances or the printed patterns being off. Double check both.

For the measurements, use the Search The Forum box on the left—type in size of center And/or size of circle. That will take you to the measurements I provided earlier this year.

ID:	887159 Barbara, thank you. I remeasured all the houses and with a bit of adjustment on those that weren't exact at the base, I was able to make everything fit! thank you for your help. here is progress so far. I felted the trees and will do FMQ on them once quilt top is complete. I also stitched designs on the roof tops .
