I'm so delighted my houses and trees worked together well. My center circle even measured 17.5 inches. I was concerned before piecing the together but I tended to detail (1/4 inch seam from start to finish). I appreciated Barbara's caution to insure your seam doesn't increase or decrease at start or stop of seam. Thank you

Barbara. Your video on posting to the forum has disappeared. I just added photo and text has disappeared. I have 1/8 gap between edges of tree template and corners of two houses. Should I go ahead with appliqué or somehow address this gap first. Thanks.

Decided to Hand appliqué the bias and the trees, I find it very relaxing.

After due considerations the green fabrics in my beautiful Kaffe Fassett Collective stash, I decided to use 16 different non-KFC greens for my trees, I felt that although KFC trees would be incredible, I wanted to keep the attention on the colorful houses, and still have some playfulness in the trees. I’m really excited with how everything is working together so nicely. Sometimes, you really need to use the crayons from another box...

Wish I could take a better picture, the colors are much more exciting in person!

Elaine, from your photo, your treetop is exactly where it should be. Add the 1/4" seam allowance to the bottom edge. When you turn under the bottom edge, it appears that it will be exactly 1/4" from both sides. When you join that pair of houses to another pair, the 1/4" seam allowance will put the edge of the treetops exactly at the seam, or close enough!

Finally made a decision on the Tree tops...after buying several different fabric’s. I might intermingle some of the others either in this circle or the next top row of hses. I decided to use some decorative stitches for the base of the trees.
