    Month 4--Sizzle

New month, new blog, with tips for making Block 4:

    https://bbquiltmaker.blogspot.com/2019/04/sizzle-block-4.html

    Most Important Advice:

WATCH THE VIDEO: Pinning and Sewing the Center Circle--it is the last video on the list

You can also see Becky sew in the small center circle on her show, #2401.

    Warm,

Month 4, Warm Kit, there is no Beetle Green used. The greens used in Warm are Fern and Lime.

The fabric requirements indicate that Beetle Green would be used in Month 4. I followed Month 4 directions, no Beetle Green. Just curious why it was listed as such in the fabric requirements Thank you

Becky made a few minor changes when she wrote the actual pattern, this must have been one of them. I don’t look at the fabric requirements list now, only the pattern so I didn’t see where you were getting the Beetle Green—now I understand your question. Thanks for explaining.

In the video about sewing the small center circles you mention you already sewed the corners of the circle. I don't know what you mean by that. It's at about 3:05 into the video. Please explain. I've watched it three times and I don't understand. I'm a little frustrated with trying to sew such a small inset circle.

What Becky means is, she added the background corner blocks to the big circle before she pieced in the small center circle. She feels this protects the circle’s bias edges.

I did it that way on one of mine and on the other, I added the corner blocks after the small center circle was pieced in. Both methods work. Take your pick.
