Thanks heather, hope your wrist heals soon.
I am trying to use fabrics from my stash, the focus fabric is copyrighted 2000. I will have enough to do the last border of the quilt.
I am drawn to warm colors so this is out of my comfort zone. Lots of cool colored fabric because the grandkids wanted quilts in those colors an I have lots left over. I find I really like these colors so far. The stars make me happy. Janet

Just finished month two... a little late!
I left the paper on the sawtooth border when attaching it to the floater--did not have to worry about points because I was sewing on the paper line hitting each intersection as I went along. Did not use pins, rather Wonder Clips to hold the two sides together while stitching. Will definitely do that again in the next round: so much easier than pinning.

Thanks, Eileen. I picked the hibiscus focus fabric because it brings back wonderful memories--my husband and I lived in Okinawa as newlyweds surrounded by hibiscus so we adopted that as "our" flower back then! When I saw this fabric in the store (completely different from what I had planned), and decided this had to be the focus fabric, :lol: I had to pick all new fabrics to make the quilt work.
