I thought if you were a star member you could get the BOM download a day earlier? Not available.

You can only download the BOM instructions if you are a star member. The new pattern becomes available on the first of each month. Non-star members don't have access to the pattern at all.

The book is small; the text is printed in very small type; and the pictures are small, though sometimes quite detailed. Since apparently very little of the history of the quilt is known, the book's narrative is brief and speculative. I hope that the monthly historical sketches and quilt pattern, etc., on TQS will be expanded upon and turned into a book at some point. It will probably hit the presses before my project is finally completed! So many quilts, so little time...
