    Wendy,

I used my Accuquilt GO die to cut them... I used office folder - I think it was just the right thickness, but if you don't have any on hand, you can take the cards Inside the magazines.

If you don't have access to a GO cutter, you can print a template, you can follow this link:
    http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/hexagonal/

However, I'm not sure the measurement you need to key in: is this the width, or the side, I'm not sure
Just make sure that the side is 1/2" if you want them like mine (a tad larger), or if you truely want half-size, the side should measure 3/8".

    Hope that helps.

    Andrée

Thanks that helps. I've got some isometric paper and two triangles is about the right size. I'll mount it on card before cutting, I knew those cards in magazines were there for a reason

            Finished April border.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to 'quilt as you go' the center piece - not that I have the time to do it right now.

Well I finally found time to work on this project and fell down my basement stairs shattering the ball in R shoulder and then breaking my left thumb. I have terrible luck. Tried to appliqué the trees and some prepared work but couldn't hold the fabric with L thumb. So I'm hoping I could perhaps make the hexagons. What size are te paper inserts I figure I could manage gluing in place.

Also s this where we comment and how do you see the replies to follow the question. I'm just not getting it. Love all the comments I've been able to read. You're all so awesome.

Hello Judieo, your fall sounds terrible hope you heal quick but I know it takes weeks. You need to keep your fingers moving so perhaps you'll manage gluing.

Have you completed any of the months? It would be nice to see them

Here are my May blocks. I used a fox from another designer (with nice chunky legs). I am doing 2/3rds size so my blocks are 6 inch squares which will make the piecing easier than half size.
Now I am off to the Quilts UK show at Malvern "I don't need more fabric" but I might see the perfect backing.
