Permission from Janet Stone to enter the 2014 BOM

I would like to enter the 2014 BOM in a quilt contest and need permission From Janet Stone.
    Please Help
    Thanks

She was a TQS member but when I did a search for her name there were no matches. Then I googled her name and her profile showed up on AQS's My Quilt Place. People were leaving comments for her there. You could try that. Do you need her permission to enter the show? I don't know.

In the video for the December block Julie mentions that Janet hopes we will enter our quilts in shows. JK

Janet, if you want to send Janet Stone a private message through TQS, her username is janetstone.

If you ever want to look someone up to find their username, go to the TQS Community page, on the right hand side you'll see a place to either "search" or do an "advanced search." Go to "advanced search," then you can enter her first name, add a search term and enter her last name. That's how I found Janet's username.

Thanks, Renata. That worked. If you want to search for members you have to do the search on the community page.

Most big shows now require you provide written permission from the pattern designer if you use their design for a quilt entered in the show. That can be difficult if the pattern is an older one and the designer is no longer in business. Janet should be very easy to find to get her written permission.

Keep this in mind if you are making a quilt you might want to enter into a major show.

Just for the record, anyone who has made A to Z has my blessing to enter any quilt show you like! I wish you all many ribbons! I appreciate the mention of being the designer, but other than that, I say go for it! AND if you win BIG and want to thank me with a token of your appreciation, I prefer dark chocolates!! :P :P
