Great video. A good example of why "couture" is so expensive". We are doing "couture" even if we are copying someone else's ideas. I like to tell my husband when he asks me to sew on a button that it is like asking "Picasso" to paint the garage!!!

Janet, on the zoom quilt, there appears to be a blue insert, or piping, or flange between the two outer borders. Is this illusion of the photography? If not, how did you do it?

Susan, that is a number 3 DMC pearl cotton that I machine couched on. I'm pretty sure I sewed it on before I quilted the quilt. I used a tiny zigzag to sew it on.
