I love bordered and dashing. Still a work in progress but loved working with color wheel and my accuracy. Sandra from Tennessee

This was fun to make. Way outside of my comfort zone, but I learned a lot. Thank you Alex for encouraging me to continue to move forward and take some risks.

Beautiful and well laid out.. I cant believe you got this quilt done so fast. I am still struggling putting it together.. Well out of my comfort zone since I am a hand appliquer and quilter.. But ive enjoyed the process. Thanks to Alex lessons.

Pulled yellows, greens and purple from bits and pieces scrap pile. Tried a setting that didn’t work (really do need a design wall) and salvaged the flying geese and did this. Great way to practice piecing and try the different blocks in the book. Made only a slight dent in my scrap pile.

Not a Kaffe, but my version of Sequoia (wasn't sure where to add it) - I needed it bigger and adding blocks became too busy. I tried increasing them to 8", but didn't like them as much so instead I added the plain blocks. Birdhouse and 2 of the 3 birds are from Barbara Pershing's Condo Tweet Condo. Deciding if I need to add anything above and to the right of the double birdhouse.
