Anybody going to do JINNY BEYERS BOM on Craftsy

A group of my on line TWITTER friends are doing the free JINNY BEYERS BLOCK of the Month on Craftsy .... We are posting using the hash tag #JBBOM for our conversations. We are also posting our pictures on Flicker as soon as we form a group there. If you want to join us ... everyone is welcome.

I am seriously thinking about it. I sure don't need another quilting project, but I love Jenny Beyer quilts. This one is so beautiful.
There goes my New Year's resolution already!

Well I have signed up for it and will watch the videos but whether I will get it done or not is another thing.

My plan is to sign up and learn from Jinny's videos, but NOT do the quilt. Trying to put into practice my 2015 theme word, "focus"!

I'm doing the same thing. Too much on my plate right now...

Yep. That was my pledge to myself when I signed up. Just watch, learn, but don't you dare do the quilt...yet anyway!

I'm with you, Connie. I've done exactly the same thing. If one month I see a technique I want to learn by doing, I'll use scraps to make the single block from her BOM.

I have signed up and will watch the videos and go from there. Her colors and designs in this quilt are fabulous and it really calls to me. Oh well, another project!

I'm so glad I read this thread, I would not have known about the Craftsy class, and it's free! which is amazing. I went over and signed up, and then ordered the kit. goodness knows when I could get to it but the fabric is so beautiful. I have a DVD on hand quilting by Jinny Beyer bought a while back, the picture is only about 2 x 3 inches which was hard to see any detail on. Now I can see the technique up close and clearly on the Craftsy class! Thanks, Nonnie, for posting this one. Kathy

I'm with you, Kathy. I love Jinny's fabrics and could not buy them for the price of the kit. Got notice today that my kit is on its way! I took a hand piecing class many years ago and am looking forward to revisiting this technique Jinny's way. Betty D
