I must be totally out of it. The only "Show and Tell" I see is with the BOM and this quilt isn't there. Is there another Show and Tell I'm missing?

Goto Quilt Gallery.
Under the "Main' menu bar, there is another menu - you should see "Show & tell". Click on this and you will find the Jacqueline de Jonge quilt picture.

I notice a lot of the wall hangings have busy, beautiful, bright corner pieces around the circle and for the final border. How are you quilting these areas when the fabric is so busy the thread probably won't show up much anyway?

What thread are you using?

I am still doing stitch in the ditch around the flying geese and around the spikes using Bottomline thread. Actually taking longer than making the top but that's okay, I enjoy doing it. :roll:

Glad I used a busy fabric on the back so my imperfections don't show.

I stuck with stitch in the ditch and did not quilt the busy background square or border on mime. Since it is a small quilt and the background is busy, I don't think quilting in either of those areas will add anything to my project. If I had a different background (a solid or tone on tone) it would be a different story. I'm down to the label now. Look forward to seeing more quilts.

Good job Donna. How did you quilt it....stitch in the ditch or more? Looking forward to seeing it.

Stitched in the ditch and a lot of other straight line quilting with the walking foot. It really does not show much. I also put crystals on some of the points. The pictures I have did not turn out to well but I think I will go ahead and post them now. I can always repost next week if my others turn out better. I am pleased with the way it turned out.
