    Jacqueline de Jonge's colourful quilt

Is anyone doing it? Has anyone posted any photos of their color selections? I have the kit and plan to follow along.

I have looked at the video. I won't be making it but I look forward to seeing what others do. Maybe there should be a Show and Tell page for it?

I am anxiously waiting for my pattern to get here. I also ordered some rainbow strip fabrics from her web site. I hope people will post there progress and possible questions on the forum. I am looking forward to getting started.

I would love to do it, but I'm not very good at copying anyone's patterns exactly and I almost always change the piecing method so I will enjoy seeing what others are doing instead. I took a workshop with Jacqueline a few years ago and never finished the project. The blocks I did will be used in a quilt someday but it probably won't look anything like the pattern. For now I'm getting ready for a quilt retreat and will be working on quilts for 2 brothers and a UFO from 2008 that will be turned into a quilt for my youngest grandson.

I've ordered the pattern and will try to work on it when I get it, but I often get sidetracked. I'll post whatever I do. I'm thinking about colors, but will wait until I have the pattern in hand before making any decisions.

I ordered the pattern and do plan to make it. I doubt if it will be started for awhile though. I'll decide on fabrics after I see the pattern and finish watching the video.

I am waiting for the pattern to be delivered. I'll post pictures as I go. I've got lots of other stuff I'm working on also.

Isn't that the best part of quilting? You can work on several things at once!

I've been listening to this class today as I frantically try to finish my quilt for FOQ that's coming up. She is a good teacher. Sure wish I had time to participate.

Festival of Quilts Birmingham. Lorna what category will your quilt be in? I have one in the Contemporary Quilts section just for the craic.

I am waiting for my pattern and will use some of my own hand dyed fabrics plus whatever goes from my stash. I hope to work on it all summer and finish it for our guild show at end of Sept.

                              cheers
