This isn't a quilt (yet) but that's how I envision it!

I am absolutely in love with this lady's painting and can see most of them in fabric! My husband just 'rolls' his eyes!

    I love her color sense!

I keep going back and looking and her work just makes me "happy." I might have to do that cat! My sis would love it so she could hang it in HER house and my husband would only have to roll his eyes when we visit! ha

Lynn, paint a cat, quilt it up, and you'll get a ribbon at a quilt show!!!! She does have happy looking art.

Or you could do one of your DH rolling his eyes! I have to say I love the cat one too.

I love the cat too. I was thinking of going through a coloring book and doing the outline of an animal (perhaps a duck) and then piecing it with some fabric. It would make a cute wallhanging or pillow for a child. I guess I would need to get permission if it is copyrighted.

It's never too late to doodle! Draw it up, send it to spoonflower, maybe even in black and white, color it with Intense pencils, quilt it, whoo hooooo! We will not get distracted, we will not get distracted

Dang, I just got an idea  for Wendy's challenge

I'm going to have to watch the show again. I tried using a jpeg to create a fabric and came out with a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inches square in the middle of a big piece of white. hmmmmm..

Lynn, I'm very concerned. There must be something wrong with your husband. All this rolling of eyes can't be good for him. I strongly suggest you take him to the doctors and have him checked. Poor man!   ......
