    Surprise from Lorchen!!

Yesterday I received a lovely package from the UK!! After watching Alex's show about scrap quilting, Lorchen offered to send some scraps to share to TQS members. I wanted to play along and now I have the most adorable bag full of new-to-me scraps!

Not only did Lorchen send fabulous scraps, she also wrapped them in an adorable lime green bag with a big white bow! The card is wonderful too -- it's a collage of some of Lorchen's own quilts!

Thank you so much Lorchen! I love everything you sent and your thoughtfulness especially. This weekend, I will be picking out some of my stash/scraps to send to you in return.

It's so much fun to exchange stuff with our quilting family!!

Scrap-o-rama is right! Beautiful bag, too, Lorchen. You are truly amazing.

I'm glad, Michelle, that your scraps made it across the big pond and that you like them!

LORCHEN! Did you make up the pattern for the cute little bag or is it someone else's pattern?

Ritzy, not something I designed or made. I was given it as a gift. It was filled with small bottles of bath stuff which I used. I decided that that bag would be much nicer than a boring zip lock bag for Michelle's scraps. I just filled it till I could only just close it. I had not seen this type of closure before. It's just a wide ribbon, stitched down all around, and with enough left to tie the bow. Very nice solution.
