I do not get to sew as much as I like because of work and grandson.... but I have been going on get aways / retreats where I sew non stop..

TODAY took a class from VIKKI PIGNATELLI .. ( early TQS SHOW) and this is what I learned.... EASY WAY TO SEW CURVES.... HOW TO MAKE A FRAMED BACKING ... FAUX BINDING .... SO MANY tips for curves ... am excited to do a little wall hanging for my newest grand niece.

Pics... RAINBOW curved background ... going to have toys and teddy bears applique before I get done.

You reminded me how much I loved that episode and that I will have to watch it again soon. Must have been a great class. I want to see more of that project as it progresses.

She has a DVD of her workshop on her web page ..... IT is WORTH the money for both the workshop and the DVD... very similar great reinforcement of the workshop lessons. I will be viewing it over and over again till I get my current project done.

lovely! I'll have to check that out....I have a quilt project "in my head" that needs curves like that, but I've not started yet as my idea exceeds my ability yet.

Your colors are lovely in that, and I second (third?) the request that you keep posting pictures as it unfolds!
