Great incentive. When you sign the petition, looks like even non-members might be able to watch her TQS episode.

Just signed the petition and it is on the QuiltArt yahoo group so many people will see it. I have painted, done woodburning, and now mostly quilting. When do I get to be an artist? Well, I call myself an artist but not sure the people in the government would recognize it because my work doesn't sell for tons of dollars. But I know for a fact that I have work in,at least, seven different countries because of who bought it or where it was sent. Am I not an international artist then, Not the caliber of a Kate Cox but if I live three more centuries maybe, LOL Ann the traveling quilter now back in Minneapolis.

I signed it too..... Absolutely ridiculous!!! that Kate should be in this situation. The link was posted to my Yahoo Janome group so probably many people saw it there too.

Don't you just hate the attitude that if it includes fabric & women then it cannot be 'art'... I signed on principal.
