Western Washington Trunk Show and Meet the Author event

For those of you in Western Washington, I am pleased to announce that the Silverdale store of Quality Sewing and Vacuum is hosting a “Meet the Author” event August 7, 2013 at 10 am where I will be presenting a trunk show of my quilts, signing books, and demonstrating some binding and free motion quilting techniques. This event is a lead in to classes I will be teaching at the store this fall. For more details, you can go to http://www.QualitySewing.com or my blog at http://www.mysterybayquiltdesign.com .

The store will provide refreshments and be giving away door prizes. Hope to see some of you there!

Welcome to the forum. It would probably be helpful for the rest of us, if you would list your name in addition to your screen identity.

    Regards,

So sorry, I was really absent-minded when I did the post this morning! I am Shirley Sandoz; somehow I completely forgot to put a signature at the bottom. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

Hi Shirley, I hope you hang out in the forum and join in the chatter here some more, as for many of us this is how we meet. Your trunk show & meet the author event sounds fun, but is a bit far for me to come (from the East Riding of Yorkshire, UK  )
Do you do a lot of challange quilts and do you enjoy them?

Like Rosy, your event is little far for me to travel (East Midlands, UK), but, please, Shirley, come back to the forum and tell us how it went - pictures would be marvellous too!
