Wearable art blast from the past

    Hello everybody,

Came across this pic in an old magazine from the 70's. Thought you might like to see what kind of wearable art was happening in that decade....pretty scary! LOL Wonder what someone 35 years from now will say about some of my wearable art? LT

Just a tad longer and I would wear it as an apron... oops... maybe that's what it was!

I have to agree with you there! Is that red even available anymore unless it is mixed with cyan blue?

I remember clothing like that! I think we called it a tabard. They were all the rage over our flared trousers. Or at least that's what I think my MOTHER was wearing.

Apron? I would have worn that as a dress in the 70's

Don't think those fashions ever reached our house (except for the pig tails, I loved my pigtails like that, they were so 'swishy', but then I was still in primary school  )

I agree with you ladies that it could have been a dress I would have worn in the 70's. Oh and don't forget the Neru (I think thats how you spell it) Jackets. I have a pic of me wearing one of those jackets as a dress
