Quilting vision
Does anyone else have trouble with their quilting vision. Quite often I see quilting in reverse - like seeing it in negative so ups are down and downs are up. I mean on photos on here or books, no problem with with quilts 'in the flesh'. Sometimes if I blink I can get it right :?

It could be where the light source in the room is coming from!!
Especially if you are sitting with a lamp or other bright light source on one side of the photo, and the light source when the photograph was taken was on the opposite side.
If you are looking at a quilt photo in a book or magazine, and it seems "reversed", try turning the page upside down!! Not recommended for the pictures on the computer!

Yes, all the time! I have to relax my eyes and let the 'other' correct interpretation into my brain. i never thought of turning the page upside down, thanks Margo! Maybe it is the lighting on the picture being different from the lighting in the room.Originally posted by twigletDoes anyone else have trouble with their quilting vision. I always had trouble with those 3-d pictures too.

The problem I have is that I can't seem to focus on the fabric for too long as it feeds towards the needle. I learned
not to watch the needle, but my eyes seem to want to blur out or not keeping looking at the spot where I'm
steering the fabric. Lucky for me this doesn't happen when steering the car!!

Well you right click on your desktop and click on either properties, options, graphics can't remember which and you click something else then it comes up with rotate screen, either 90, 180 degrees etc., but remember when you want to change it back your mouse works the other way round.Originally posted by PosyPWhat, rotate the picture on the screen? I can't do it on this laptop but works a treat at work.
Off to relax my eyes.
