What ya gonna sew/quilt/do this weekend?

I'm happy. This is Friday evening before three whole days off and I have my knight quilt partially quilted. I am going to work on that some more this weekend, and maybe work more on learning my drawing/design software. They say it's gonna rain, so I probably will be inside most of the weekend, but I'm a happy camper. Hopefully, though, I can get in a walk or two also. Don't you love weekends? What are you planning?

I have a very large customer quilt on the frame that will take all weekend plus to do. It's called Primitive Garden and it's a wool BOM from Primitive Gatherings from a few years ago. It's so lovely!! Here's a link:

In between quilting, I will take my daughter to her riding lesson and perhaps get a bit of piecing of my own done! I'll probably fire up the grill too... if we don't get rained out on Monday! LOL

I'm piecing and quilting a lap quilt for my nephew. I found a gorgeous robot panel, and have bought coordinating fabrics for the outside. His birthday is next weekend, so it is pedal down this weekend ... Except, doggy school in 40 minutes :? , then Mum's to fix her computer  , then father's day shopping , then helping my son with his school assignment :? , then to a friends for dinne  r. Tomorrow, I have to go watch 2 football finals as well...

So when I'm not doing all the above, I will be sewing (oh and housework).

I'm working on quilting a quilt for my nephew's college graduation next spring. I want to get it finished in time for our guild show in Oct. It's a generous queen size at 94x94, so quite a bit of quilting! But we're getting there...

Probably no sewing this weekend but we are having a family picnic and celebrating our granddaughter's first birthday.

 I'll be at work all three days, at the crack of dawn. Someone's got to be there and it's me. I did get to sew some today, just some mindless sewing which was nice to do. Your knight quilt is a work of art!!! I'll be thinking of you all this weekend, hoping that you are finding some time to enjoy some sewing.

I have been working on a Sharon Pederson Rose of Sharon quilt. Will be doing more of that and hopefully some machine embroidery. In between doing errands, celebrating my friend's birthday and chores, that is.

I am finishing up a fluffy (polyester batting) lap quilt for my husband. He requested the fluffiness... it's a simple pattern and I finally used up all of the fly-tying fabric I bought probably over 15 years ago! I also have a small silk wallhanging that I want to mark and machine quilt with feathers. Have a picnic on Saturday afternoon, but other than that, I'm free!

Wow, that's a yummy quilt. Hope you get to that bit of piecing done. Sounds like a lovely weekend.

Please post photos along the way. I seldom tackle a quilt that big. Have fun with it.

Sounds like a really fun weekend even without the sewing.
