IQA's Celebrity Mini Quilt Auction-here's mine!

I was invited to make and donate a small wall quilt to the IQA's Celebrity Mini Quilt Silent Auction in Houston this year. Apparently they don't know that I am not a 'celebrity', but nevertheless, I created this quilt. I am just hoping someone bids more than 5 or 10 dollars on it so that I will be invited back next year. The quilt does not, as of yet, have a name..... I'm still working on that. Sometimes titles of quilts come to me in the middle of the night, so I plan on staying up late. If you happen to be in Houston at the quilt festival this year, check it out in person, as well as all of the other quilts made by 'real' celebrities.....and make a bid on one!
Now go quilt! (Oh, by the way, the size of this quilt is about 17 x 19.)

My guess is that if IQA thinks you are a celebrity, then you have reached celeberty status. Just accept it and enjoy it! I love your little "ewe" and alphabet quilt. With a touch of Texas! I'm looking forward to seeing it in person!

Janet, you're quilt is wonderful!!! And with all the well-deserved awards you've won recently, I'd say you have reached celebrity status. Just enjoy!! I was in Houston last year and saw the celebrity quilts there, and even voted and bought earrings. I'd say your quilt definitely fits in that group!!

Your quilt is adorable. It should fetch a pretty good price.

That quilt is cute as a button!

Maybe they think you are related to Sharon Stone.

I, too, have seen your quilts in person and you are a celebrity in the quilting world. What an honor to be asked to make a quilt for the auction. I bet it gets more than 5 or 10 dollars, too.
