I finally got a refund! Over the course of 2 months, I sent numerous email requests to Neil; and he did not answer even one of my emails. Today I sent an email to Sharon and another one to Gene Schamber. Gene refunded my money & also told me ("quote- I will send your refund, however Neil Atkin is the sole owner of the nertwork."). I thanked him for the refund and let him know that Neil is not responding to his emails!
I hope they take care of this matter for everyone else that has lost money. I'm just happy to see it come to an end for me.

Also, pointing fingers means to me that there is a disruption in the "cosmic" schamber land and everyone else is caught up and "paying" for it literally. Sorry if it sounds syndical, but there you go and I am not even one of the people caught up in it intentional or not, I cannot stand for fraudulent activity. It just irks me to no end and can't stand to see people being taken advantage of. If they were truly concerned, they would be making any and all effort to rectify the problem and at the very least making a statement as to the problem. My apologies if I have gone too far, just venting for all involved

Shoot, Lynn! We've been talking about her site since last August, and nothin's been done yet to fix it!
My guess is that there is a major family issue going on there! Too bad that it's cost a lot of non-family members a hunk o money!

Eh, whadaya gonna do? I'm sorry to see the demise of what I always thought was a very "over-ambitious" offering - But SO interesting and informative. But, I WAS getting a little tired of the music!!!! In the meantime, Ricky MORE than filled the void for me by getting back to teaching. Now THERE'S a teacher.

Me too, I kept thinking that new classes would be posted, but then the site disappeared. They said it was a computer crash or something, but I got tired of waiting, so that's when I asked for my money back. It's a bad situation for a lot of people. They could make it a little better if someone would at least answer email questions, but to just ignore people that's very bad business. I liked Sharon's video classes, but I can survive just fine without them.
I got my refund, but the last insult with that was when he sent the money thru my PayPal account, he sent it in a way that PayPal deducted their percentage fee! Oh well, just happy to be done with the mess.

I was checking Google to see if it would come up with a link to the SSN and I saw the clip and link to the QS group. So glad I saw it and could read what others have been experiencing in regard to the disappearance of the site.
I did get the email from Neil stating the server crashed and that he would be building a new one for premium members. That's the last I heard from them (him)
Two days ago I was able to bring up a different version (newer?) of the site but when I clicked on Classes I only got info on Sharon's live classes info...no video link!
This is the 3rd year I've been a member, maybe 4th, and I've always learned so much from the videos. I have ADD and it's more difficult for me to learn in a classroom setting, esp since I've gotten older. The videos are great for people like me.
I had some personal help from Neil 2 yrs ago when I tried to renew and the info kept being blocked. He was very helpful (by phone yet!) and helped me work through the glitch. I also received emails answers when I needed to inquire about something.
I'm so sorry to hear about all the negative responses or lack there of, that everyone is experiencing. I actually had been thinking about inquiring about getting a refund since I, too, feel I'm not getting what I paid for..$140.00 is a lot of money!
Perhaps the quilting community, in general, needs to know what's happening here.
Neil may own the site but Sharon has given her work and name to all of it and also receives income from her products sold on the site.
If there is a "family problem" that's a personal thing, the details of which I don't need to know. However, when it is affecting their business and preventing paid members from accessing the materials promised, they need to address that in a very timely manner, read: NOW!
If I have any other helpful information to report I will post it here. From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

I don't know this for sure, but when the site was working & before they removed the forum, someone wrote a comment that Valerie had quit. There were a lot of unhappy people on the forum & all of a sudden it was removed from the site.
About a month ago I sent an email to Sharon's daughter on her Purple Daisies site asking her what the problem was and to ask Neil to contact me. She wrote back and said he would be contacting me, but he never did.
