Me too, sigh. But to get my quilty on, I plan to baste a few quilts with vanish lite. and dust off my quilting hat and get busy! I got through a few layers of rust in the joints while playing with some Texture Magic when I made myself a new tote bag, gotta get a pic. Thanks Bridget for taking the lead on the UGH train! 8)

Hey, count me in here, too. We must make a party of our own, since all the others have gone. I don't know if I ever manage to go to Houston, but I'm thinking of Birmingham next year. First step to a big show :P .

I am also a charter member of the UGHs. My DS turns 30 on Thanksgiving and I am frantically working on this birthday quilt and just started cutting it yesterday. Hopefully I will get it done by then. Us UGHers will still have fun this week.

Bridget...is there room in the UGH Club for one more? I sure would like to some company this week. It is no fun pouting alone.
I did spend the day working on a "First Christmas quilt" for one great niece and a "welcome new baby quilt" for another. So, I guess my day wasn't bad at all... I did spend it sewing. I am looking forward to reading everyone's posts about Houston. I'm just trying to figure out how to keep checking the lastest forum posts and blogs while I'm at work. Better to wait until I get home, relax, and savor every word. Anyway...here's to us! We'll get through this together! Meanwhile I'm waiting for one of your posts...you said you have some fun in store for us. Thanks!

Here's a link to my "announcement" on the forum. Club activities will officially begin tomorrow. I hope you guys enjoy it!
