    I need your 10 cents

Every show we ask the guest (if they don't mind) to make us each a six inch block. I pulled mine out the other day and started playing around - Is it good to go? (I am awed by the talent represented here!)

When it's assembled you need a contest to see who can identify all the block makers!

Well, Alex , since you asked if it's good to go. Here is my humble opinion. I think the graphic high contrast pinwheels are distracting. When you look at the picture of the quilt your eyes are drawn to the extreme high contrast and you can not make your self gaze at the entire quilt in a relaxed manner. Look at the quilt and be aware of your eye movement across the quilt. Maybe use them as a border or an alternate block. Just my opinion. Betty Ann

WOW!! What a wonderful collection!! They're wonderful. I don't suppose you're going to give this away in a contest to some lucky TQS member, are you? Just a thought, well, dream!
Betty Ann may be right about the pinwheels being too strong. Maybe more neutral colors?

ok - someone emailed me and suggested to take out the pastel filler blocks - so now it has gotten even bolder....but Betty Ann, now I am going to consider what you said

Very much better. I can look at the other blocks without my eyeballs bouncing around. Betty Ann

                        Yep! Looks better!

Alex, is there some way you can reduce the size of your posted photos? They are so big that I can't see the whole quilt on my screen without scrolling from side to side and top to bottom.

I don't know about MAC, but in Microsoft Paint, it's really easy to do.

Am I picky, or what??? First there are no photos and now I'm whining because they are too big!! I'm a PITA today!

The flying geese blocks don't seem to be balanced to me. I am not sure they should be border blocks.
