Nope... I have a new Bernina QE 440 from last years Tax Return. ... I promised hubby no new fabric til I finished his quilt..

He finally figured out... If new fabric comes in the house I put aside his quilt and started working on a new project.... Can't help it he picked the pattern and the fabric and they are just not my colors or style.

I MADE NO PROMISES about new THREAD, SIZZORS, NOTIONS, FEET / GOODIES FOR MY SEWING MACHINE, CLASSES OR QUILT DVDs OR working out of my fabric stash on new projects.

I just promised I would not buy NEW fabric and put his quilt on the back burner again.


I did play with the idea of an emboidery module but I did not like machine embroidery when I had my SINGER FUTURA ... I thought it was BORING... so I nixed that idea. I WILL NEVER get a long arm because my DH would have to move out in order to move it in.... Besides I work on my feet all day the thought of sewing on my feet all evening makes my feet HURT!!! My domestic machine work is improving and fun to do.... so I will stick with that.

TQS and all my other DVDs are how I keep my sanity when hubby and family are watching sports, or playing video games.

I have gotten into pod cast and I am thinking of taking a computer tech class at adult education on learning how to pod casts, video cast YOU TUBE ETC.

THAT WOULD BE A HOOT....

Pati had off Friday (in the shoppe) - but it my understanding they were delivered - SOOOOO - hang on. We will shout it loud and clear when the link is up to order - probably tomorrow - if in fact they were delivered. This particular set was riddled with issues. Having pounded them out this should never happen again - from my lips to Gods ears......

Shhhhh - here is the secret - the Dvd's DID come in - but Pati had a family emergency and had to leave early last week - but all that said we will be offering shortly (perhaps later today) a thank you for all your patience - stay tuned and in touch today!

I received my DVD's on Friday. We had rain yesterday, then steamy heat, so it was a perfect day to be in the sewing room, work on a project (curtains--not a quilt!) and watch The Quit Show. (Because of the location of my home computer, it's not practical to watch the shows on line, unfortunately.) The DVD's are a real treat! Thank you all!
