Got mine a few days ago - but then I live in Cincinnati! Loved the magazine. Read it cover to cover. Jan

I have it in my hot little hands here in Chicago. I need time to settle down with that glass of wine that Patsy poured in the Free Motion lesson. *L*

Just leafing through it, and seeing the index, makes me think I'm gonna like it a lot.

BIG SHOUT, it came today. I just leafed through it. Looks like I have some interesting reading to do. Wish I could sit down now, but I got to check my laundry, before it gets all wrinkled. Then check about the rest of dinner, stew in the crock pot, but have to make biscuits. I guess we still have to eat, even with this wonderful magazine, thanks Ricky and Alex and everyone involved in this great project.

Another BIG SHOUT! Came yesterday and looks great.

Hubby and I celebrated our 45th anniversary yesterday with dinner and a play so haven't had time to do more than browse through it, but looks great! I think they took some lessons from Mark Lipinski and realized we all have lots of patterns so to write about "other" things!

              Thanks Alex and Ricky!

I haven't got my TQL magazine yet. I was so excited to see everyone else get there's. I live in San Jose, Ca. I've been going to the box every day and hoping it was there. I bet the news stand or Barnes & Noble has it already!? If it doesn't come tomorrow, I'll call AQS???? I was really excited about it and now I'm feeling a little down...

That stinks Ladybugquilter. When I got my bill in the mail from AQS, it said to expect the magazine by February 25. While I did receive mine last week, the 25th was probably a safe projection for them so as not to raise expectations. I bet you'll receive yours within the next couple of days. If not by Thursday, then I think I would call.

The Barnes & Noble here doesn't have it yet. I was a little lazy about sending in my subscription and thought I'd just buy it off the shelf, but yesterday I changed my mind and now have a subscription. Hopefully I'm in time to get the first magazine. I will keep looking for it at the stores though just in case I'm too late.

I got my Quilt Life magazine in the mail! Whoo Hoo! Have only made it to page 41. Lots to read! I LOVE the pages. No shiny slick pages. They are a matte finish. Very easy on the eyes.

I have received my first issue and it is great! It is definitely a keeper. If you really want to have the first issue, you may consider contacting AQS and purchasing the first issue separately. You will have to pay the newsstand price plus postage.

If you have waited until now to subscribe, you will NOT be receiving the first issue as part of your subscription. I asked for information about store locations (from Sharon in the subscription department) and I was told that they have been so busy with orders that she did not know which stores in my local area ordered copies.

I went to two different Barnes and Nobel stores this week and neither of them had it or heard of it yet. They said not all the stores will get the same magazines. Darn! Karen

I just checked my subscription receipt from yesterday and discovered it has a user name and password. So I am able to read the magazine on line. It's too late today to do so but I'm sure I will be reading it over the days ahead.

I received my TQL yesterday afternoon and I love it! It even feels good in my hands. Nice quality paper and superb articles! Well worth the short wait! I read it twice and probably will do so again this week! Now, I can't wait for the next issue! Think I'm a little spoiled or impatient?
