Hey MI Quilters... Quilt Exhibit at the Ford House

This information came across my desk, today. Since it starts Feb 6th I decided to send it out email to those on the email list. I think this might be an opportunity for those quilters who like road trips ... especially if we wait for a beautiful spring day!

Workshop with Suzanne Marshall on Feb 6th (see below for details)

Edsel & Eleanor Ford House continues its emphasis on inspiration, creativity, design and expression with the opening of its newest exhibition, Pieced Together: Inspirations in Collages and Quilts.

The exhibit showcases two artists, Suzanne Marshall and Eleanor Winters, who gain their inspiration from the world around them. The exhibit runs exclusively at Ford House Feb. 6 through March 28.

During the exhibition, guided tours of Edsel & Eleanor Ford House are available Tuesday – Friday at noon and 1:30 p.m. and are offered every half hour from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission for tours is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $6 for children over 5. Children 5 and under are free. No advanced reservations are required.

I read about that somewhere, and really appreciate the reminder. It's make a nice "road trip" for a few of us from around here.
