Need IDEAS for QUILT GUILD Programs - cancellation

Our Speaker canceled and we have 4 days to come up with some activities for the members ( 100- 150 ladies) We something beyond the usual guild activities...

We have done 4 corners presentations just last month so we want to do something other then a repeat of that program.

Our other problem is trying to contact all the members to let them know to bring a project or machines with them... so having a project work night probably will not work out.

I have offered to let them have some of my DVDs (TQS) to present.... but I am not sure if we can get the use of the big screen projection equipment for that night. I am not sure if this would work well for such a large group anyways.



What does your guild do when the program is canceled...

Any game they could play? Any getting to know you activities???

We have tried getting a different speaker but no luck.

We sometimes have a prolific quilting member with a large quilt collection come and do a trunk show, and tell a little about how they got started into quilting and how their quilting has evolved over the years.

We went with an IN HOUSE TRUNK SHOW.... an email went out to all the ladies that gave us their email addresses.

We had them bring in their first quilt, a quilt they wanted to talk about because it was important to their family.
