    Using SULTRY RINSE AWAY FUSIBLE

Using SULKY rinse away fusible as an embellishment.
Hey to anyone who may know.
I saw this technique on one of the TQS episodes.
THe quilt artist took threads and little scraps of fabric. Sandwiched them between this product and then just started sewing a grid pattern on the hodgepodge of threads and things. I tried it, and the b;ock came out cute.. but I don't remember what to do with the "block". Use as an applique? Make alot of them. I know she gave ideas during the episode.
    Please help if you can.
    Thanks
    Kate

I have been collecting all my thread ends that I end up with while doing my machine embroidery, and eventually will use them in something with this technique.

You could use them for a number of different things, a couple that come to mind is as a decorative pocket or collar on a blouse or jacket. If you have a lot of thread, they can be used as pieces of a vest or scarf. They could be used as a pillow top, although I would layer it on top of another fabric, so the pillow batting wouldn't show.

I'm sure there are a lot of other things that can be done with this technique, just need to think about it, and see what you can come up with.

      Diane.
Thanks..I'm hanging out in Divide with my sister until tomorrow.
There is about 4-6 inches of the white stuff.
Thanks for giving me some suggestions.
      It's a really neat technique..

How about incorporating the fabric into a clutch bag?
