I am going to accompany my husband to Houston next week for 2 days. While he is conducting business I will have Saturday to myself. I have never been to Quilt Market. What suggestions can you give me to maximize my time.

Bunny, are you going to be at Quilt Market, or the Quilt Show? They are two different things. Market is for manufacturers to show their new stuff to shop owners. Quilt Show is for quilters to see all the quilts and vendor booths. If you are going to Quilt Show, get a booklet when you get in the door. I think they are a couple of bucks. It will list all the vendors and where they are, and where each quilt exhibit will be. Be sure to be at the TQS booth at 1 for the meet and greet. Then spend some time in the vendors and some time looking at the quilts. Have fun and wear comfortable shoes!! -

Bunny, If there are still places left, Ricky is doing a lunchtime concert/lunch from 12-2pm on the Saturday. I know quite a few of us will be at that. Its not to be missed. I am sure that there will also be folk at TQS stand at 1pm also. Justin is bound to be there. I hope that we get a chance to meet. I know that many of us will rest at various times of day near Starbucks on 2nd floor. If you wear a TQS badge you are bound to meet up with other TQS members. Pam
