Talk about an attention grabber. Wouldn't we all love to win this one. I read about it in today's newsletter, and jumped into the fray. I got to the website and started to fill in the entry form, only to find that I could not enter my state. It seems, for some reason, New York was not included in the little drop down menu. I've emailed the sponsors to alert them to the oversite. I'll let you know if anything changes.

When I tried it Florida was not on the list. Let us know if you get a respons from Bernina. Betty Ann in Florida

I got all the way to filling in the state and found no New York. Small print at the bottom said that it was void in New York and Florida.

I got a response from the email I sent:

The state of New York has decided for its citizenry that residents cannot participate in online contests. I will notify the other shops that your state address is incorrect. Don't worry. You are entered in the contest.

(When I submitted the entry, I used my correct email addess and zip code, and just entered any state. So, I guess I'm entered.)

Frankly, I've never heard of such a thing. Wonder what it's all about and whether it's worth following up on??

Big brother taking care of us again...or they can't figure out how to tax it? who knows.

Yeah, I joined in the contest. At least Nevada was listed. I think some States have regulations that don't allow some contests. It's only something the lawyers would understand and I'm not one.

I got the same response, no NY! I tried to enter by leaving the state space blank, hope I'm entered!
