Having a brain fart ... need a better memory

I have EQ6 and BLOCK BASE... I am looking for a log cabin style block and can not remember the name of it to find it in the library...

I remember the following LOG CABIN style block names but I know they are more... can you all help with this???

    Log cabin
    Chinese lanterns
    Court house steps

I know there are more but can not rember their names... the one I am looking for has no center block but the logs are placed around the square.... the starter block is in one of the corners....

Can you remember the name ???

Have you tried searching by keyword instead of by name? I just tried that in BlockBase and got lots of results.

I just did a search for Log Cabin by notecard, and came up with at least 50 blocks. There are a number of them with the square in the corner instead of in the middle, with varying widths of logs.

Thanks for the tips... I will try again. I had tried using the search with the name and got nothing.

I did find the block I was looking for in Sharyn Craigs.... ULTIMATE LOG CABIN BOOK... it is a variation and she called it the chevron block. I had seen this block in other books but I can never remember the name. The starting log is in a corner... there were several ways of setting the blocks to make then look interesting.

so little time so many quilts to make.
