Please pray for my three-year old Grandson Travis.He will be having heart surgery July 7,2009. He also has Downs syndrome.He is just the sweetest little guyand I will be very grateful for everyones prayers. I very seldom post replieson the forum but follow along and send up prayers for all the requests.Sincerely, DixieH

I just said a prayer for Travis. The son of dear friends of ours who is also Downs Syndrome had heart surgery when he was a newborn--he's now in his 20's! I just pray that the Lord will give you all peace about the surgery. Judy in Torrance

Dixie, prayers coming from my corner of the world. As a survivor of heart surgery, I can tell you that the techniques and rehab these days are miraculous! Although it's still scarry, they've come a long long way!

Wanted to update you all about Louis, he went home from the hospital yesterday. He did not have a heart attack, but they did find some abnormalities on his EKG. The doctors said that some people just have these abnormalities. If he still has problems, the next place to look is his GI tract. Thanks for all the prayers.
