You go to the Friends tab on the top and then select "Find Friends." Then there's a place where you can search for people.

Today, I terminated my Facebook account which was just established a couple of weeks ago upon request from a long-distance friend. Facebook recently changed their terms of service which allows them to keep and use your photos and everything else you post, even after you terminate your account. I was unconcerned about the few things that I had posted there, but really have better and safer ways of keeping in touch with my friends and family. However, I strongly disagreed with their new terms of service when I see what others have posted there. Your friends and family members may be posting photos of you or comments about you. Think about it.

Just read on Facebook this a.m. that they've had numerous complaints and have gone back to their previous terms of use.

I terminated it primarily on principle, but also because I did not care much for the format and way it works. As I mentioned before, I was unconcerned about protecting my privacy.

My kids are on facebook...and their friends too. I do dot wisit often but it is a greate way to say in touch for me :lol:

I love love love Facebook!! It's so interactive.. I have an nice quilt group and an LOT Of quilt friends (over 1,000 .... yes.. that many quilters on facebook and I don't know them all yet!)

Send me a friend request Pat Sloan... my quilt group is Pat Sloan's place. We do challenges, share ideas.. etc... but the best part is chatting back and forth.. fun!
