Frances, I am so sorry for you and the family. I know how hard this is for you. Your pain will ease after a while, but even years from now there will be days when it just hits you fresh again. Try to remember all the good times, and the fun you have had with her. Hugs to you and the family. I will pray for you all.
Anne I am keeping you in my prayers too. Be thankful for the love you have shared. Hugs and prayers to you and the children.
Both of you remember that when ever you need to talk, vent, or whatever, we will be here for you. Love to you both.

Dear Francis, I am so very sorry for your loss. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her in Houston a few years and her showing all of us her Dear Jane with that very cool fabric. She was such an adorable lady and very talented quilter. My prayers for your dad and all your family.
Hugs from Colorado, Sharon

Frances, Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. Margarita was such a fun and amazing quilter. I remember her showing me her Dear Jane quilt made with only 2 fabrics. What a cool idea and a wonderful quilt. She was an extraordinary quilter and friend. Please give my sympathies to your family, especially Joe.
There is one fun quilting bee in heaven right now!
God Bless You, genevaGeneva

Thank you Robin for passing on the news. Yes, Mom died last night surrounded by family. It is a sad time for the family but through our faith, we know that she is now pain free in a much better place. (I'm hoping that fabric is free when I get there to sew with her again) Thank you all for your prayers and your words of support and offers of help. The funeral will be on Saturday and please keep our family in your prayers as more family will be flying and driving to CA for this.
Joe, Frances and family.

You are welcome, Frances. Your mother was much loved by many TQS members -- those of us who had the privilege of meeting her in person and those who only knew her through this site. She was a bright, shining pixie, and I will treasure the memories I have of her, including one TQS member dinner at Houston where your Mom and Dad and you invited me to share your table. Many hugs, Robin

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom, Frances. I enjoyed any time in her company in Houston in the past years. She was a very sweet person. I've been thinking about her and offered up Mass last Sunday for her. I'll pray for your family as you all go through this sad time.Lyndhurst, Ohio USA - East Side Suburb of Cleveland, Ohio

I have left my heart felt condolences on the Caring Bridge site, but would like to say "Ditto!" to Sharon's post. It was so much fun watching the progression of Margarita's Dear Jane quilt, as she shared it each year at the TQS dinners. Who would have thought to make one out of orange and yellow fabric? When she shared the completed top, we were stunned! It is beautiful! Such perseverance! She was a remarkable lady, and we will miss her! I pray the days ahead will go smoothly for your family Frances, and like someone else said, give Joe a hug from me!
