Yes, Ritzy and now you probably know there are some pretty wicked respiratory bugs out there, especially for we 'older' folks. We are beginning to reap the rewards of all these years of antibiotic abuse and overuse as a culture. It doesn't matter if one is personally not overusing them.....the bugs in the community are becoming more and more resistant! So glad to got him into the hospital for appropriate care.

Now, dear one, take care of yourself!

Yep! I was trained as a lab tech. and sometimes knowing more makes it hard to keep from worry. If all goes well tonight--they will let him come home tomorrow. He is not healthy by any means, but he is not in the danger he was except from his wife who told him if he doesn't do what he is suppose to I wasn't picking him up from the hospital.

I'm glad things are going better Ritzy. I've been praying for you but sorry I never commented to let you know I was thinking of you and Loren. Hope he continues to get well and listens to his wife!

              Dear Ritzy,
I hope that things are going OK for you both, you are still in my prayers.

Well, Loren strength has improved but he is still doing a lot of napping. Now if he doesn't get mad at my nagging him to drink water--all will be well. Thank you for your prayers.

Ritzy, try just leaving a full glass next to him where he naps and suggest that he must be thirsty when he wakes up. If it is readily available to hand he might be more likely to drink some.

Rosemary--he has the glass right next to him and I keep telling him--honey you need to drink some water. Some times he just does it but most times he curls his lip at me

Hi, it is some while since I have been on here as life has got in the way. I have just got an email from Anne Ehlers (Anne1 I think) Her husband, Wolf, had a heart attack last night and is in hospital. She said 'His blood pressure has been very low but if it improves they may do a bypass or another procedure. the prognosis is not good and his heart is in bad shape.' The severity of his condition is such that her son is on his way from his home in Australia to UK at this moment.

Please keep them in your prayers.
