I could sure use a little prayer warrior intervention. My DH was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer a couple of weeks ago. It was caught as the result of a routine physical exam. At first it looked like there was no lymph involvement or no metastasis and he was in the processes of joining a new clinical trial at Stanford, but his PET scan has just shown a spot in his liver which moves him to Stage 4 and out of the trial. He is starting radiation today, with surgery scheduled for December 5th. He says no little spot is going to dim his spotlight.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in prayer for Charae and her husband. We know that You know all about this cancer and the stress and fear it is able to put on them and so I ask that You would lay Your loving hand of mercy on Charae's husband. I pray for Your healing and peace to fall on him and his family. Strengthen them through the days ahead. We praise You in Jesus' name, amen
