I'm just seeing this & I certainly am praying for confidence tomorrow & wisdom for the doctor & good information for you two to make decisions.

Ritzy, I am praying for you and Loren. It is truly amazing what the doctors can do these days. May they be guided by our Lord.

Just got a call from the Doctor's office. The doctor has an emergency surgery tomorrow so Loren does not go in until Wednesday. I did ask and this is just a consultation. Continued prayers please. I feel like I am losing my mind--although there are those who would say that happened a long time ago.

Waiting is the worst. Want to play Words with Friends :-) ??? Is this consultation with a cardiologist or surgeon?

Waiting is the hardest thing. It takes lots and lots of energy. No wonder you feel ho-hum. Prayers for you and Loren.

Ritzy, of course praying fervently that you and Loren will have some answers tomorrow. I know it can feel discouraging, but also know that the strength of faith is one of the best tools to bring to the meeting.

I also know several women on my WomenHeart site, have had very encouraging recovery from ejection fraction numbers lower than Loren's! Congestive Heart Failure can be improved immensely IF we are willing to do what's required. I can't remember Loren's other issues (except that awful infection several years ago!)

Yes, to think positive and consider some of the ways other than surgery, such as salt management and exercise (as tolerated, of course).........of course if the Dr. feels a pacemaker is warranted, that too of course. Pacemakers today are marvels of modern technology!

I just know a low ejection fraction is not the end of the story, so have hope.........HOPE in caps! In prayers for tomorrow!
