Dana's husband has just posted
'Doctor just came out. Surgery went well. Cancer was confined to the kidney, nowhere else. Dana is going to be fine! Entire kidney with tumor was removed. She will have a few weeks of recovery and then be back to normal. Thank you to everyone for your prayers, friendship and support'

I just read Greg's post about Dana's condition. Praise the LORD!!!! Such good news. Pam got here before me so most of your know about this but just wanted to log in again and say how happy and thankful I am for this good news.
I had some good news today on my own health. I had a bout of gastric bleeding back in Minnesota and the doctor there (a surgeon - so what do they want to do - surgery) had said I needed almost immediate very invasive surgery to correct the bleeding problem. Yes it might correct the bleeding but since I have only had a bleed once in the past five to six years I wasn't excited about that. And anyway he was not my regular doctor. Today went to the gastroenterologist who has managed my condition in Texas for 7 or more years. He said take some medication, come back in two months, don't need to do the scope again - "I know what you look like on the inside" and stop worrying. So I came home happy. Tomorrow I see the hemotologist to find out whether I am anemic after that bleed but feel fine. So all in all it was a good day.
So God is Good, All the Time. All the Time, God is Good. Thanks to all you Prayer Warriors who have been praying for Dana and for my family. Hugs and love to all.
Ann

Dana has posted on Facebook.
'Good morning everybody. I came home from the hospital this morning. I cannot thank you all enough for all of the messages, kind words, texts, emails and phone calls I've received this past week. I woke up many times every night, and I always read your sweet messages and listened to songs that you sent. They were such a comfort during this time. My kidney was removed on Wednesday, and the final pathology report shows there was a 10.2 cm tumor confined totally to that kidney with NO spread anywhere. I could not be more thankful. It is so good to be home! I'm comfortable in a recliner in my studio, surrounded by all of my favorite things, where I will be for the next few weeks. Life Is Good, and I send many blessings to each one of you.'

Limbania also recently posted on Facebook.
'Last week was a good week. Kids had their fall brake and we did some fun things to stay entertained and out of trouble.
Last Thursday the 3 of us went to the Dr to get the results from the MRI, all clear, "no abnormalities found". I decided not to have more surgery, Dr. Still wants me to at least do radiation and tamoxifen to prevent recurrence but I'm researching and there are other ways to achieve that. So, we celebrated after the Dr's visit by having yummy ice cream.
For now I'll continue with naturophatic treatments, supplements, home remedies, as healthy as possible eating/lifestyle and keep on praying for continued good health. Hoping to recover full mobility of my right arm and then will be back to Bikram yoga.
Thank you all for your support and prayers. Please keep on praying for this to be the beginning of many healthy years to come.
Love, hugs n blessings'

Terrie has been in my thoughts too, so sorry to hear things have not gone well so far. Hopefully they will change for the better soon.
Ann, so glad to hear that your own doctor was not so dramatic in his diagnosis and glad you are feeling okay.
Pam, thanks for letting us know about Dana and Limbania. Still sending the positive thoughts in all directions.

Great news about Dana and Limbania! Sending up prayer for continued and complete recovery. Tough news about Terrie; will kick it up a notch for her. Praying the 2 surgeries combined were able to give her the outcome she's hoping for.
Ann, glad to hear you're doing well. You've been in my thoughts a lot lately.
