Ann, I will pray for your family, and especially for your son-in-law. I pray the doctors are guided to make the right medical choices. It is a worrisome and scary time for Frank not knowing what the future holds. I pray that he be calm and have the strength to fight the emotional as well as physical toll created by this horrible disease.

Praying for the most recent needs on this list. For tongue cancer for the teenage daughter, and for the loss of a dear mother. We serve an awesome God.
Thank you all for praying for my mother. She has been out of the hospital since April 8th. She is gradually picking up strength and interest in things around her. We still have 24-hour in-home care for her. In a couple weeks, we may start backing the hours off gradually. It was thrilling to walk into her house yesterday and find her and the caregiver in the kitchen making meatloaf and scalloped potatoes together! Actually, Mom was teaching the girl how to make these two favorite dishes!

Ann, I'm saying prayers for you and your family members as you all go through these challenging times. Mary, I'm still thinking about your and hoping you are finding peace following your mom's passing. Limbania, I'm continuing to pray for your recovery. Joyce, I'm very pleased to hear the good news relating to your Mom. I hope it continues! Hugs to all

(if you have a little room left on your prayer list) add me to it, I developed a case of Sciatca pain, mostly down my left leg recently. I have not been able to pin point what I did to cause it. If you have not suffered from this be thankful. I have an email to my Dr. to see what exercises I can do because I had both hips replaced. Thanks again. Margarita

Margarita here is how to do your signature: http://forum/forum-questions-and-sug...s-on-the-forum
It took most of us a couple of tries to get it right, so don't give up!
I do hope you can figure out something to ease the sciatica pain soon. I know that is miserable.
Hugs,
Margo

Oh, Margarita, I'm am so sorry for your pain! Been there! It sort of helps to sit on a Temperpedic pillow. Fortunately, mine doesn't last for more than a few days, then it subsides a bit. I hope your doctor has some good advice for you. Let me know if he mentions a tennis ball. I've been told to roll around on one, but never remember to buy one. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Ann, I am so sorry that you and your dear family are going through a rough time, health wise. I am praying for you!

Oh, I'm so sorry for your sciatica pain, Margarita! My mother has suffered from it for years, but there doesn't seem to be any one thing that she's done that helps completely. She does use a heating pad on her lower back (while sitting in a chair), and that seems to provide some comfort. I hope your doctor responds soon! I'll have 8 chemo sessions in total. One every 2 weeks. Number four, tomorrow, Monday, April 22, is the last with two different drugs applied the same day but not mixed. Starting number 5 will be another drug, one only but the dripping is very slow, takes about five hours between blood test, medication to help with nausea and the chemo. Taxol is the name of the drug and because one of the side effects is peripheral neuropathy, tingling and numbness in the extremities, hands and feet particularly, it has to be applied very slowly trying to prevent that as much as possible. This of course besides all the other niceties (side effects) chemo causes.
DMIL is coming from Alaska today and will be staying 9 days, she'll be leaving on a Tuesday and DH will be arriving the following Friday on time for chemo #5 (DH works in the north coast of Alaska on a 2 week on/2 week off schedule). The first week after chemo it's been the hardest and she'll be here for that. Marty (DMIL) is a very caring, thoughtful and generous lady. I'm very lucky having her in my life.
Thank you all for your prayers and support.

In leafy Berkshire, south of England.
