Your prayers are appreciated. I have been sick for over three weeks and totally missed out on Christmas and the New Year as I was in bed! What a nasty flu.

Glad you are on the mend Debbie. You convinced me. I am getting my flu shot today. Apparently, it is suppose to be extra bad this year. But the good news is that this years vaccine is suppose to be a particulatly good match to the viruses causing the illnesses. Prayers that you all take heed. Remember, "God helps those who help themselves."

I sure appreciate the prayers. I was thankful that we had a two week break so I didn't miss work those two weeks but now I should be back at work but not well enough yet. My worst problem now is laryngitis. Haven't been able to talk for almost three weeks (I hope my husband doesn't get too used to that!!!  )

Debbie--I am so glad you are finally doing better. This flu season is terrible. I have lots of relatives in Colorado who can't seem to shake it; it's rotten, lingers, and then seems to come back. Thus inspired, I finally got a flu shot on Sunday. The pharmacist kind of shook her head, disapprovingly, and told me most people try to get their shots at the end of August or at least in September. I hung my head, properly chastised, and promised to do better next season. California, so far, looks like one of the few states avoiding the epidemic so I got a little lax!

Debbie - sorry to hear about the flu, it will take some time. Here all I have heard is the rotten cough that lingers forever. Feel better soon, hugs Sharon
