Rosemary, Your poor husband has been through the mill. It's too bad it happened at all but it's a good thing it didn't happen while he was chaufering and caring for his parents. Keep us posted. I hate being sick and most of all I hate being sick away from home. Hope he gets good treatment and home to you quickly.

Rosemary, I am praying for your husband and for all of the family. I am sure his parents are worrying too. Waiting is the hardest thing to do! I hope the antibiotics work and he gets home to you soon.

Rosemary I hope your husband is back to good health very soon. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow I guess. I felt like it was kind of a blessing when things happened so quickly with my husband a while back, that I didn't even have the time to worry.

He will be getting operated on in probably an hour or so, I hope to talk to him middle to late evening, hopefully it will only be keyhole surgery.

Thanks for all your kind comments. I don't often comment for others requests, but I always keep you in my prayers.

Update, he had keyhole surgery, the appendix was completely rotten, so it was good to get it out now. He is recovering well, as far as I can tell, but his mobile battery is getting flat so we are reduced to texts until his charger turns up/or I phone the ward. Isabeau is bearing up well, although she has had some wails of 'I want my daddy' when I have had to tell her why he isn't home yet, only to be expected. He hopes to be getting out tomorrow all being well.

Rosemary, thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear that your husband is now rid of his appendix. Hoepfully he will have a quick recovery as it was a keyhole job. It sounds as if he will be back home with you and Isabeau very soon. Hugs to you all. Pam
