So happy Chelsea is improving and feeling better! Praise God! Quite a faithbuilding experience for her and mama ;-) just think--it wasn't all that long ago that prayers for an answer were being lifted up. Now she's zipping down the road of recovery!
Blessings,

Kalynn, wonderful news that Chelsea's healing well! I pray it continues!!!
And now I think we need the prayer warriors for our own Clara Lawrence. Her sister has died an untimely death. See her note here: http://forum/charities-and-quilting-...challenge-2012

My prayers go out for many of you, and my heart goes out to others! Your are my friends, and when you hurt or have burdens, I feel it, too. May god bless you all with wisdom, understanding and compassion. I have been keeping up with the reading of your prayer requests, even though I have not been very chatty lately. We've just been busy with the daily routines and maintenance of life.

Hello, All. I would like prayer for my Mom and for me and my family. Mom went to the doctor on Monday for a routine checkup and was sent to the hospital for her heart. She was in afib (I think that is how to refer to it). She was admitted and meds were started and a shock treatment was scheduled. Before the treatment, her heart started beating correctly, which was a very good thing. Mom is 90 years old. She was counting on going home yesterday, but there is something wrong with her kidney function. She is very upset about this. She is a worrier and can make herself anxious over the smallest things. She lives on her own just three doors down the street from me, but it totally dependent on me for transportation and groceries. At this point she is very fragile and weak, but physical therapy at the hospital passed her to go home. I am the only family left. Mom is thinking that she is going home and it will be just like this never happened. I don't see it this way. I can't move in with her and she can't move in with my husband and me (no space). Besides that she would drive me crazy very quickly. I'm hoping to talk with someone at the hospital today about lining up in-home care for at least a couple of weeks. However, it may not happen soon enough. If they release her today, I'll have to be her 24/7 caregiver. That really scares me. Just getting her home and into the house by myself scares me. I have a very good friend who has been through a lot with care of her parents who is with me as much as possible and helping me come up with questions and guiding me through the hospital maze. I still really need prayer as much for myself as for my Mom. Thank you! I appreciate your prayers!

Prayer for Clara, you and your mom and family.
Here's my request: Please pray for my sister, who just had major cancer surgery for the second time in about a year. The day she had the surgery, her MIL fell and broke her hip. She now is in hospital. The hubby of MIL is not really able to take care of himself. Then, on top of that, my sister's son had a friend from high school who died in a car crash. With his mom and grandmom being sick, this I am sure is overwhelming. My sister's hubby needs prayer and strength to take care of his mom and dad, his wife and his son. They will need lots of support.
Thanks.

So sorry Terrie, wishing your family the strength to get through all this.
MAMA2TNT I know it can be daunting suddenly becoming a carer. Hope you get the help your mum needs soon and I'm sure you're up to the job, you must be a worrier like your mum. It may be that with being under the weather has caused her stress and the abnormal kidney function that's just a blip that will correct quickly or it may be her medication. Wishing you both well and hope once she's home you'll feel better.

Prayers of all who request them from here too.
I also need some, My FIL, who has been getting worse with his lungs packing up and is now on oxygen most of the time has just heard that his big sister is in a very bad way and not expected to last too much longer. Unfortunately they live about 6 plus hours apart and he & my MIL are not fit to drive the distance, and flying or trains are just out of the question but he is desperate to get up here. DH & I will do everything we can to help but it is sorting out the logistics that will take some unraveling.
Thanking you all.
