Some long-time friends here in Michigan have a son attending a Christian college in California. The son and his car have been missing since last Tuesday. This is totally out of character for him. Please pray for his safe return.

Update on the missing college student: Law Enforcement sighted him four days ago. It is supposed that he is purposely trying to disappear. He has been influenced by a book, Into the Wild, and has talked about living it out. He has no wilderness skills. A search in a desert area is being organized. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue praying that he will be found and/or will return to his family on his own.

MAMA2TNT, thank you for the update! I was wondering about this young man, just today! This news is very strange, indeed! I understand wanting to do the "mountain man" kind of thing, but not without letting SOMEONE know what you are doing! Especially your parents. I pray nothing sinister happens to him "in the wild."

Regarding the kind-of missing student, it sounds like something from a reality show. I really dislike all the reality shows and the influence they have on impressionable souls. Praying for the best possible outcome for the student and that he finds fulfillment through a relationship with the Lord. Praying for his worried loved ones.
