Just spent some time with a friend who will soon be with the Lord. Brenda is dying from cancer and she whispers concern for everyone but herself. She asked me to pray for research and I told her whenever I think of her I will pray for research and the cure for cancer. Her response: "good plan".
My prayers continue for the requests you all have shared. Waiting with hopeful anticipation for good news of wonderful recoveries and cures!

I pray continually for those whose lives are being touched by cancer, whether it be yourself, a family member, or a friend! I will also pray for a cure! We've put a man on the moon, and can hold the whole world in a device in our hands, but are still losing loved ones to cancer. It is devistating! I don't know what else to say!

Ladies, I dont know why, but I didn't even know about this Forum list until Shirley told me when she and I were e-mailing recently. Thank you for all the prayers I've been included in and I want everyone to know I'm praying for everyone else with Cancer and any other concerns we're listing here. TQS women are amazing and I'm so glad to be among you all!! Blessing on everyone who reads this and those that can't, too. Nancy

Ladies, this was posted on the Daily blog but in case you missed it can I recommend making a heart for a friend. http://daily-blog/103-good-advice/15...-show-you-care
Making a fabric heart for them is a way of sending them our love and showing that we care and are thinking of them. These small hearts can be made fairly quickly and easily and can therefore be sent right away. Why not make a few for those who need a heartfelt thought from a quilting friend.

Please pray for my daughter who missed her depression medication for several days last month and it was completely out of her system. She is taking it again, but it can be 6-8 weeks before it gets back into her system properly and she begins to feel any benefit from it. She is studying abroad and although she was home for the holidays she is now back in Austria feeling mentally in a very bad place.
It helps to feel the support of our TQS friends, thank you.

Pam I am praying for your daughter that God intervenes with immediate regulation of her medication in her system. Take heart--our loving Father brought me through my personal battle with depression several years ago and I no longer need medication. I used to go off of mine when I "felt better" and then paid a price for not taking advantage of the help the medication provided that I needed at the time. So I know the feeling, though my pride got me to that bad place--not missing the medication. As she works through the depression, I'm trusting God will bring her to the other side of her illness with victory, hope and joy.
Blessings,
Jane

Pam, I'm praying for your daughter that she feels better ASAP...and for you to have peace of mind about her welfare. For what it's worth, I've discovered a wonderful series of books by Caroline Myss, who writes about human energy and healing that describes an entirely new level of consciousness about our body, mind, and spirit. I'm currently reading one of her earlier books, "Why People Don't Heal: And How They Can" and find it personally very helpful.
Blessings,
Shirley
