Joan, I'm praying for your sister and you. How scary! It's so frustrating when there doesn't seem to be any explanation for a health crisis. Interceding for her to get pushed through the health care system quickly so she can get the help she needs. I'm praying for you also that our loving Father will whisper his love, hope and peace to you as you go through this with your sister. I would like to ask prayer for a young dad who we have known most of his life. His name is Brock and he is dealing with heart problems from a birth defect. Through the years it has been an ongoing prayer battling for his life at times. He and his wife have two very young boys and she is due in January with their little sister. I ask that you pray that there would be a complete divine healing of his heart and that this nightmare could be over. Thank you all. What's that phrase--trouble doesn't take a holiday"-- well praise doesn't either so praise God for all His blessings and Merry Christmas to all of you and your families,
Jane

Jo Jo,I'm so sorry to hear this. The insurance companies can get all out of hand. They'll take your money but fight you for what they should cover. We had to fight a claim not to long ago it went on for two months but we won. What they don't understand is that the cost could have been much much more if I would have stayed at the hospital. The Dr. wanted to keep me over night but I wanted to go home. I hope you are still getting the care that you need. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Please pray for my brother and his wife, Robert and Veronica; they lost their baby girl on the 23rd.
Also, my friend Merolynne, here is the background story so you know how serious the situation is: she went to John Hopkins, because she was told it was the best for the surgery she had to have. She had a tumor on her brain that was pressing against her optical nerve. When they went in to do the surgery, they found the tumor was wrapped around a major artery. They had to cut through the artery. This caused her blood pressure to drop and they needed it to be up so the veins would take over. So, they upped her blood pressure with meds. This caused her to have a stroke. They then had to cut a part of her skull out to relieve the pressure. She finally started healing from the stroke and was doing well. The doctors then decided to replace the piece of skull. So, back to John Hopkins. They replace it and she started running a high fever. They had to go back in and take the skull piece out again and the infection was in her brain. Two days ago they let us know that the infection is MERSA.

Ritzy,
Oh my, I just don't know what to say.
Everyone,
All these requests have been in my prayers. Please pray for my friend Sharmaine. She was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer a while ago. While undergoing radiation treatment, she bent over the arm of her couch and began having pain in her side. The doctors then determined that she was in Stage 4 and it had spread to her bones. The pain was broken ribs. Now they say that it has spread to her liver. She is now going to be starting chemo. She usually lives alone but right now needs help so she sometimes stays with her parents who are not supportive at all. Her father calls her lazy and gives her a hard time for resting so much.

Ritzy, I am so sorry to hear about your brother and his wife losing their baby! May the Lord be with them, and strengthen them during this somber time! And, I will pray for your friend Merolynne, that she has the support and love of her friends and family. Lord, please give the doctors widom in dealing with everything that is happening to Merolynne! Amen.
Frances, I pray that there are many friends out there for Sharmaine, who will support and love her during her Chemo and after! It sure looks like har parents are lacking in that department! Maybe her Dad just doesn't know how to deal with the fact that she is in Stage 4, and is acting the only way he knows how. May the Lord forgive him, and give Sharmaine a peace about her home situation, so that she can stay stong for her chemo.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, tomorrow they take her four hours away to see the neurologist I am praying he can start a process to help her. She is our baby sister and when she is well she looks after everyone. I am remembering all mentioned in this thread and that we have the strength to handle our heartaches and our joys. Joan

Prayers for all those mentioned here, needing special healing prayers. Prayers also for their family and friends, that they may have the knowledge and strength to continue to support their loved ones through these battles. Prayers for my TQS friends while they watch the pain others are experiencing. May the Lord heal you all and I pray many more good times are in store for all.
