Tonight and tomorrow I will be praying that my brother's heart surgery goes well. The doctors are hoping that they can repair the existing valve rather than replacing it completely, and they are also hoping that they don't have to crack his ribs to get to the valve. If so, that will cut down his recovery time significantly. I'm also praying for comfort for my mom, who's pretty freaked because she went through a lot of years of heart trouble with my dad before he died (of a massive heart attack). It's hard to live so far away at times like this.
I'm also praying for all those mentioned here in this list. Robin

Dawn, I'm praying for Terry's speedy recovery and that he is out of pain and comfortable ASAP.
Robin, I'm praying that your brother's heart surgery goes well without any complications and that your dear mother is comforted by our Lord, and that goes for you too.
Ritzy, I'm praying for your dear friend Merolynn and her family. And...how joyful it is to hear that you are holding your precious baby grandson!
Yep, there's no doubt about it...we are f-a-m-i-l-y on this forum...the TQS family! Thanx, Alex and Ricky, for bringing us all together to laugh, cry, pray, quilt, create, and share in each other's lives all over the world.
My dear departed older sister used to tell me when I was growing up, "When God closes a door, He opens a window." She was right on!
Hugs,
Shirley

Rosemary, I like that!
I've just gotten the first report: My brother is out of surgery, in recovery and doing well. They did have to crack his ribs, though, because they found a second valve that had problems, so that was fixed, too. I'll get more details tonight.
In the meantime, I continue to pray for Ritzy's friend Merolynn, and for Dawn's and Sharon's husbands as they recover.

Ritzy, I smile every time I see your little guy in your arms. He is a blessing for all of us, that faith can move mountains.
Robin, it'll be a long road but know that your brother has our prayer army behind him.
I pray for all on the list who need it.

Prayers are going out today for Cath's Harry and Dad, for Dawn and Terry, for Robin's brother and mother and Robin herself, for Ritzy's friend Merolynn and thanks for little Elisha. I'm thankful to TQS for the opportunity to hear of all these needs and to help out as I can. Love and Hugs to all, Jan
