Ritzy, I'll be praying for your DD, too. God truly does care about every little detail of our lives. And Karen, I know what you mean about crying easily; especially when we see the Holy Spirit at work. I notice that it affects my DH that way, too; and he has never been an emotional type. I think many of us are in a faith walk right now. We have so many changes and possible changes coming in our own life and we are just trusting God to show us the way. He often does it in ways we would never even think of and it is often better than we could ever have imagined. I am praying for everyone on this list :-)

At the beginning of our church services in our senior's park, we say responsively God is good, all the time - All the time, God is good. This gets our service off to a wonderful start. We had a very loved pastor that God called home way too soon for most of us and this was the way he started the services. We have kept that tradition going even with a new pastor. Our church has an active prayer group and I know first hand the power of prayer. In 03-04 I wasn't expected to live much less ever walk again, our pastor visited me daily and put me on so many prayer lists. And needless to say four years later, I am not only alive and walking but doing many other things that were not supposed to be possible for me again. So PTL God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good. and even though I have my challenges and need prayers yet, I rejoice in EACH NEW DAY that the LORD HAS MADE. ANN

What great news Judy! And Sherry! It's so encouraging to hear good news in answer to our prayers. Ann I loved your story. Years ago I had a miraculous healing. My appendix had burst and the emergency room sent me home to sin no more with overeating. (when you're fat everything is blamed on that). I even went to a retreat on Mackinaw Island. My friends did not recognize me I was so sick and altered. When I came home I was admitted to the hospital and 10 days after it burst had my appendix taken out. The infection localized itself and altho it took a month to get out of the hospital and a summer to recoup I knew God had done it. Some say the real miracle was living thru the ride home. I was being driven by a young man visiting from Israel and he drove very creatively!

Wow, Patti! You truly had a miracle! Ann, I loved what you wrote about how you start your church service! And you, too, had a miracle! When my DIL was delivering my granddaughter, things were not going very well and it seemed she might be stuck in the birth canal. They called the anesthesologist (SP?) in and were ready to rush for a C section when the Dr. went over to my son and his wife and said, "Let's pray." He only took a couple of seconds to do that with them and it calmed the whole situation right down and in no time, Reilley appeared in this world. I knew God had given us a miracle and what a blessing to have a Dr. that is a Christian!!!

Oh Sherry that's a great story! I had a christian gynocologist once and we prayed together. So much power in it.
Margarita, praying for a good outcome and a solution to your mystery ailment.
I too have been fighting something that has recurred 3 times in the past 2 weeks. I told my girlfriend I caught salmonella by watching the news lol. But can't figure out what it is. Ran all the kitchen thru the dishwasher and basically have not been cooking that much or anything consistently.

Please pray for Damaris Estrada's husband, Joel. They are on their way for him to have an emergency root canal. They came to visit this weekend and he was in so much pain that Damaris had to put in an emergency call to their dentist and have him call a prescription in over here. And even that did little to alleviate the pain.

Saw my friend and her daughter at Mass yesterday. J did not look good at all, she was really pale. The surgery went well and did what it was supposed to do, but she is still having problems. Earlier in the week they were at the hospital beginning the process for a kidney transplant. She was in the ER Saturday night because her potassium level was too high. She is now on a low potassium diet. Mom is having problems because there are so many foods that she now has to limit or take out of the family's meals. She is basically having to change how and what she cooks. I didn't realize how many foods have potassium in them.
