Dear Anne, I am praying for you and all the family. My husband had panic attacks after his heart attack and it was distressing for him and for me to witness, as he is so easy going. Hospital visiting is so very stressful and tiring Anne, so you must remember to be kind to yourself. I agree with Lois, and feel that you should allow yourself some time to enjoy your new machine, without feeling guilt. It may be enough to ease a little of the stress that is on you now. Please look after yourself too Anne.
My love to you and the family Pam

Anne, you and your husband are still in my prayers! Having experienced panic attacks, I know how scary they can be! I agree with everyone that you need an occasional diversion. Worry and stress can make a person sick! So, keep yourself well by doing good things for you. It is not selfish, but healthful! We need stress free time to ourselves. And, of course, as a quilter, getting on that machine of yours will probably do the trick!
I'm glad your husband has show some small improvement. Do they serve those small bottles of Boost in the hospital? That's what they gave me when I wouldn't eat. There's a lot of nutrition in a small package. Could help!
Hugs!

Anne, I am praying for you and your husband. I hope he recovers soon. I am praying your son had a safe trip home and also that your daughter is able to keep up her strength too. I know this is hard on everyone. Please take care of yourself. I am sure you are the glue holding all the pieces together. Hugs to you.

I haven't spoken to Anne for a few days. The last time I heard from her Wolf had been moved out of CCU back to the stepdown ward that he had been in before where he hadn't done so well. Their son remains in UK at the moment.
I have just seen on Facebook that Limbania's mother has passed away today. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
In leafy Berkshire, south of England.

Pam, thanks for keeping us informed. Anne I will keep praying you and the family. I am glad to hear your husband is out of the CCU.
I will keep Limbania and her family in my prayers. I am sure her mother was a great source of strength for Limbania when she was so ill. Loss is so hard. Hugs Limbania!!

To everyone who sent prayers and best wishes to me and my husband I thank you all dear friends.
Wolf has started eating .....at last! and is also walking to the bathroom but is still very weak. I don't think his heart will recover sufficiently to have a bypass.
Hopefully next week he will be transferred to our local community hospital for rehabilitation which will make it much easier for us to visit.
He has a long way to go yet and I don't know when he will be home. In his present state I could not look after him. He will have to be able to climb stairs before he can come home as our bedroom is upstairs, fortunately we have a downstairs cloakroom.
If necessary we will have a stair lift installed.
I think all this is a long way off yet.
My son will be going home soon.............I will miss him dreadfully but his life is in Australia.
My daughter lives near to me and is a constant source of strength and support.
Thank you again....we may never meet but I count you all as my friends.
Anne
