Ami Simms needs your help to obtain national recognition for THE ALZHEIMER QUILT INTITIATIVE. So far she has raised about $150,000 for research .... mostly from Quilters. It is time to wake up the rest of the nation.

Quilting Divas and friends have made beautiful quilts that have been exhibited across the country. There is an on going ON line auction for dontated quilts for sale. She exhibits some of these quilts whenever she lectures. Ami is well known amoung quilters but she want her program to be acknowledge by the National media... not for herself but to raise more money for research.

How can you help....

Write letters to the Oprah show or GMA or the Today Show... whatever program you watch asking them to do a feature program on Ami Simms cause. If enough quilters bring it to the attention of the networks / talk shows; someone will take notice.

Snail mail works better than internet. So write your favorite show/program / magazine asking them to do features on Ami Simms and her Research Foundation. If enough quilters wite some one will listen. So please bombard your favorite show with requests for Ami Simms.
